CPD can be delivered either in house or at one of our training venues in Durham. These include Durham Cathedral and the Marriott County Hotel, both in the City and both within easy walking distance of Durham's railway station and park and ride bus stops.

Occasionally, the Nitty Gritty office in Weardale is the recommended location if CPD is for a smaller number of delegates looking to address specific needs. At times, we will advertise a course being held at an external venue, which can be booked using the booking form link above or by emailing or calling Lynda Kempsey. (see contacts)

All training is designed to help you fulfil the aims of your English or whole school literacy action plans. Below are descriptions of current off - the - shelf courses, although all can be customised to suit learners from key stages 2 to 4. (For student intervention, including speaking and listening activities click back on News) If you are interested in these being delivered in your own centre, or are interested in CPD tailored to your specific English or whole school literacy needs, simply get in touch through the contacts page.
