Reading for Pleasure: a Signed Book Makes a Unique Gift.

Lynda Kempsey's new novel is now available. Signed copies of "The Puppeteer", a murder mystery set in medieval Durham and Weardale, can be ordered for £9.99 via the RESOURCES SHOP where you can view the book jacket and read a preview before you order.

Alternatively, copies can be purchased from the tourist Information centre in Durham, Bishop Auckland and Stanhope, Durham Cathedral Book Shop, Bradley Burn Farm Shop and Timeless Beauty Salon in Wolsingham, and Woolly Back Knits at the Dales' Centre in Stanhope. It can also be ordered through Amazon.

Track Down The Locations from Clues in the Book.

I have created a simple clue sheet so you can squeeze even more entertainment value from "The Puppeteer". You simply read the extracts as directed and try to track down the scenes from the book - remembering that it is set over 850 years ago. The clues are organised into Durham City and Weardale locations and the sheet is free of charge. Simply email me using the contact page and I'll return the sheet as an attachment. It is a word document, so you can add to the chase if you wish to take your family further afield. Perhaps you have relatives in Beau Repaire - nowadays Bear Park.
